Our Mission: To create a healthy space for youth attending school in Maryland, offering them the opportunity to foster positive relationships with adults and peers to support confidence building, improve self esteem, and increase extracurricular involvement.
Purpose: To provide mentees with mentors and guest speakers who offer emotional and social support on various issues pertinent to the Mentee.

- Passion & interest to work with youth who suffer from domestic violence and bullying
- Adults, ages 21 and older

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a mandated reporter
- Act and react in the best interest of your mentee
- Responsible for initiating weekly contacts with youth
- Consistency in meeting dates, planning outings with youth and being responsible for keeping in touch with mentee in reference to changing plans and schedule coordination
- Attend annual youth development and trauma informed care training
Length of Commitment/Time Required:
- A minimum of one year
- Minimum 4 hours per month
- Weekly Check-in with mentee for at least 15 minutes per meeting which count towards the minimum hours
- Attend monthly group sessions which count towards minimum hours
- Multiple engagement approaches (Phone, Zoom/Skype/etc./in-person)
